TI flats> output

Is it me or do TI flats have low output. I notice a substantial volume loss on my P bass from the DR Nickel Loriders that were on it to the TI flats.

This is certainly the opposite of my experience. They were louder than what I had before (ground rounds.)

I find them to be much louder that just about any flat I've ever played and even leaves many roundwound brands in the dust. It's why they are on all of my basses. Even, harmonic and rich is how I would describe them. Perhaps there is a problem elsewhere (electronics?) or you can fiddle with the amp eq.

Aren't they a little looser and more flexible than other flats? That would lead to louder volume if anything.

I also thought TI's had great output, maybe it's not the strings. Now I'm thinking could be a power issue where I rehearse. I'll get to the bottom of it and post when i know.
