Modulus fretless 5 string.
I've used 3 sets of strings w/this bass. The flats that came with it (D'dadarrio Chromes), DR rounds and TI Jazz Flats.
The TIJFs are nice strings...$70 nice? ehh....I don't know but I like them. I consider them an investment...they can stay on there for years!
Issue is that the B string does not seem as loud as it should be. It's not dead it just doesn't seem as proportionally loud as it should. The chromes and DRs were fine on the B. Is this normal for TIs? Should be I getting a replacement B?
If it's normal i'll just throw on the chrome B.
Thanks!

To the OP, what you describe is not a typical problem with the TI flats low B. They sound massive when set up well. |

FG | I guess you saw my setup in my profile. Eden 400 + avatar 2x10 = plenty of fat low end.
