TI Jazz flats on an extra long scale?

Does anyone know if these strings are long enough to be used on a 35" necked bass (Yamaha TRB1005)? Cheers.

Yeah but I've put extra longs on my bass before and they were way too long, I think they're designed to fit 35" string through basses or something, plus you cant' buy an extra long individual high C I don't think. I just prefer to use regular gauge bass strings as most fit, theres only a few exceptions.

If you don't string through the body (I don't know if that's an option on the Yamaha), I think you should be alright.

I used the TI Flats on a 34" scale bass where I did string through the body, and the silk of the E-string just cleared the nut.

I hope this was a little helpful, or at least a bump for a more definitive answer...

i don't think they will fit. TI flats are kinda "short" long scale strings.

just measured them: the "in-between-the-silks-part" is 920mm (36.22inch) on the E, and 940mm (37inch) on the A, D, and G string.

hope this helps...

Cheers all, I'll get my tape measure out and test the length of the neck tomorrow.

I never had a problem with TI flats on my 55-02. Fit fine and sounded great!
