TI Jazz Rounds gauge/tension, with (a more) steel sound?

I know D'Addario had an XL set that was slightly less tense than the TIJFs. Don't know what they have in Steels, nor the tension of the TI Rounds for comparison. Both their sites published string tensions, & presumably still do.

I think the Jazz Rounds are round core and XL's are hex... dunno how much difference that would make

Word is hex feels stiffer. One step (45-105 round core = 40-100 hex core)? Dunno.

I don't like that .05 is a step up in most brands. I wish I could go up/down by .02 or .03
