Are TI Jazz rounds the lowest tension strings out there?

For the 34" Thomastik-Infeld Jazz rounds set:

G: 34.61 lbs

D: 30.20 lbs

A: 29.54 lbs

E: 27.99 lbs


Are there any sets lower than this?

Yep!
Good sounding but the low E takes some getting used to when using fast finger picking. For that, suggest you play near the bridge.

Based on some stuff Michael Manring has said, lately I've been playing D'Addario XL sets I made to be really light:

.035 - 25.7 pounds
.050 - 30.0 pounds
.065 - 28.8 pounds
.090 - 30.5 pounds
.120 - 28.6 pounds

None that I have in my spread sheet. I suppose it is possible to use ultra-small gauge strings and get below that tension rating.

The TI Rounds are very loose but very playable.
