TI Jazz Rounds (on a StingRay 5)

Ive used TI Jazz Flats and EB flats exclusively for close to two years now, but just gave some TI Jazz Rounds a shot for the heck of it.

MAN, I LIKE THESE STRINGS. The low tension doesnt really bother me, although the gauges are a bit thinner feeling. But, tone, for days. They have that smooth mid flavor of the Jazz Flats, but with some extra articulation that Im finding VERY pleasing. Great cut and definition without to much click, clank, an zing.

Just wanted to give my thumbs up to these TI Jazz Rounds. REALLY diggin these.

I use the jazz rounds as well as jazz flats and superalloy. All great strings.

I love TI JFs and JRs - great strings. I really don't see why people complain about the tension either - it's more than enough even with the rounds that unless you have bricks for hands you can get a great sound.

Ive always been confused about the tension gripes.

I play with a HEAVY touch, and dont feel like I had to lighten my touch a great deal since moving to TI Jazz Flats and Jazz Rounds.

So I certainly feel you on that.

I love the tension and the feel on the TI's. It's what are on most of my basses.
