TI JF344 or JF364 for a Peavey Cirrus 4?

Sign in to disble this ad
Which scale set of TI Jazz Flats fit a Peavey Cirrus 4? It's 35" scale, and I know the JF344 is relatively long for a regular long set, but I'd like to be sure.

Thanks.

When I put TI's on my Lakland DJ5, also 35" scale, and strung them through, I used JF356's (the 5-string 36" set). They worked great.

I just ran into the same thing with a Schecter Custom 5. I called the TI distributor and they suggested the shorter set, which I used.

All the strings have an inch or so to spare above the nut EXCEPT the E string. One that one I had to trim about 1/8" of silk winding off to clear the nut.

The Custom 5 has a fairly straight top-loading bridge. On my Elite 5 I bet I would need the 36" set.
