TI JF345's, what style of music do you play?

Just curious about those of you who use JF-345's, what style of music do you play with these strings? Active or passive bass?

Thanks in advance, H2

I played them on a G&L 2500 for a little while. One of my favorite strings. Sounded great doing the classic rock thing. I ended up pulling them off for rounds for some contempory church stuff where I wanted a more modern tone. I could not get them to cut and they were boomy in that setting. Looking back on it, I may have been able to use them if I had been a little smarter with the EQ. It has taken me a long time to realize a smiley face just does not cut it.

I dug the TI flats with the preamp on. I also play TI flats on a Jazz bass with active EMGs. It sounds great in a band setting.
