TI strings?

I've got a custom fretless 5 under way and i'm curious about osme Thomastik strings i heard about. Apparently they are nylon on a nylon core ? sound familiar ? I know Rick turner uses them on his acoustibass.

I cannot find any info on them and am wondering if anyone is using them.

If you find the information about TI strings to be lacking here at TB, I seriously doubt that by the way, a visit to the TI website should give you all the information you need.
