TI SuperAlloys- red colored silk on both ends or just one...?

Sign in to disble this ad
I used a set of Superalloys for a short time a couple years back, saved them, and was hoping to try them out again on a new bass. My problem is that I found two sets of strings in my boxes and its not immediately obvious which ones are the TIs. One of the sets has red silk on both the bridge and tuner ends, and the other has red silk on the tuner end only. Any Superalloy users want to chime in?

Thanks!

TI Superalloys are my go-to roundwound string; I currently have them on two basses. The red silk is at the tuner end of the string only.

Thanks! That was my guess based on the feel in my hand!
