TI Tension vs. Typical Roundwound Tension?

How do Thomastik-Infeld Flats, as far as tension, compare to a set of roundwound strings? I know that TI's have much lower tension than pretty much any other brand of flats. Are TI flats about the same as rounds, a little heavier, or lighter?

I'm pretty tired of having nothing to pluck at with rounds, they feel like nothing in my hand, and I'm after that deep, thuddy tone that can shake ya. I've read that TI's can do that, but I want a string to have to play against.

Also, what is the difference between the LaBella Deep Talkin' Bass Series Set vs. the Jamerson set, other than string guage selection?

If you're talking about something like Ernie Ball or GHS .045-.105 rounds, the TI's will feel a lot looser.
