Tony Franklin Bass Strings

I just got a wonderful Tony Franklin Fretless bass,i was wondering if anyone knows if the strings are dr sunbeams,it says tony franklin strings on fender website,i swear they are sunbeams.

It's a Fender? Those would be Fender strings. It says NPS, meaning nickel plated steel. My guess is Superbass. 45-105. Excellent strings, very similar to DR sunbeams.

Now, Franklin uses DR strings, but I highly doubt Fender would sell a bass with another company's strings on it.

Yeah it says Tony Franklin designed strings,but fender has no such
string,so i'm not sure what they are.

Do they have black silk on the ends?

no,but i found out that fender plans to release them someday.

All I know is they are rounds, and they sound sweet as!

yes they are nice,there fender made,but they are not available yet,only on the TF bass.I want some now

Has anyone figured out to get the original replacement strings for the Tony Franklin bass?

Very frustruating not being able to buy what comes originally on the bass.

I love these strings, and I want them on another...

If he doesn't use Sunbeams, I don't think DR would be able to get away with saying that he does - I see the previous quote in pretty much every DR sunbeam PR spiel I've seen.
