I am intrigued by this bass by virtue of the possibility of using db strings, due to the bridge configuration...Here's a pic to that effect:

Scroll the page, and you will see shots illustrating that this instrument is strung with DB strings.
1/4 size would be the way to go, I put a set of super- sensitive 1/4s on a Washburn Ab20 (heavily modified with DB parts: radiused ebony nut and fingerboard and cut-down maple DB bridge in place of the former plastic.
Combined with the Db strings, this made for an aurally convincing replica of DB tone. However, I have to cut down and install a DB tailpiece, as the bridge could not sustain the tension with the stringing method I attempted.
I think that the Washburn with all of its' Mods sounds amplified much as an amplified plywood DB does, and I imagine the Tak B10 would be even more convincing in this regard, although I have yet to hear anyone eking a convincing Db tone out of the TakTB10 in any recorded media on the web, with one exception posted in a talkbass thread RE sale of a TB10, with an mp3 sample.
I am sorry that I can't post an url for the thread, but a search in the BG forsale archives will yield the mp3 sample.
In my opinion, a hollow body, DB-style parts (Bridge, FB, nut, tailpiece)DB style right hand attack, playing on and into the fingerboard, and DB strings can foster the illusion of a large violin-family instrument.
