Tune Low

I like tunning low, step and half down. I have 5 string. But the strings are too loose and doesn't sound tight. Is there any strings I could buy to sound better?

Yeah, the heaviest guage strings you can buy. But detuning as low as that can quickly reveal the difference between a starter and a really high quality instrument. You may just have to put up with string floppiness and slop. What kind of bass are playing through?
