Tuning a 5 strings in DADGC...

having no neck problems...how?
Maybe will be a Trb 1005,(it's 35 scale!) but what strings??
light? medium?

any suggestion is welcome...also specifical brands.

The best strings I've ever used at the moment are the Galli strings, just perfect.
Or D'addario exl, nickel possibly.

Then use those!

What gauges? On my six string, I use a very light gauge set (Status Graphite double ball ends, FWIW) - 120-95-75-55-35-25. If I wanted to get the same feel in DADGC tuning, I'd first try 95-75-... to see how it felt and, if the low D seemed a bit loose, I'd try a 100 in it's place.
