Tuning a 6

Sign in to disble this ad
Anyone ever heard of having a note order on a 6 like, E-A-D-G-C-F?
Just a weird thought, but if you wanted to experiment and match guitar tuning, just play a drop-B and drop-E. I thought since a few (and I mean quite a few) play their 5's from E to C, why not try an open F on the 6. It would seem to give a bassist more options for full chord style playing where harmonizing notes is key.
I'm still a relatively new musician, so maybe I'm talking out of my B(ass).
