Turquoise silk wraps

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an old clunker bass that I installed some new strings on long ago. They are roundowounds with silk wraps that are a sort of turquoise/aqua color.

I have no memory of what the heck these strings are! I ususally use Rotosound Swing bass and they have always had red silk wraps as far as I know.

Any ideas what these strings might be?

RotoSound 55s have green silk... Maybe the green has faded or something.

Roto Swing66 are light blue.

EDIT: I think Fenders are red, stock strings on both of my Squiers were red..

I think Rotosound Swing66 SS are red, Swing66 Nickel are blue. Either that or one of us has been getting counterfeit strings.

My Roto Jazz 77s are turquoise-ish. But they're flats, of course.

Maybe rotosund swing 66 nickel, or Dean markley Blue steel from when they had blueish wrap?
