GHS Super Steels are very bright and have a good firm feel to them.

I am a Huge fan of the D'Addario Pro Steels Super Bright Round Wound EPS170 Regular Light Gauge .045/.065/.080/.100 Long Scale strings if your a 4 stringer, they seem to give me all the Treble in I could ever want. Not too Bass heavy not too much Treble just super clean bass

The most trebly strings I have ever had were GHS Bass Boomers. I hate that sound and I barely played my Stingray while those strings were on it. GHS's are gross. Dean Markley Nickelwounds are pretty zingy at first but they warm up after 3-4 weeks.

D'Addario Pro Steels, super light gauge! That's what I have on my Dillion and I can get a crisp twangy sound, like Duane Eddy's guitar but in bass form. I normally don't like bright strings or roundwounds for bass, but I need them for the context I play in with my main band. They are absolutely the brightest I've tried so far.

I like Sadowsky blue label stainless steel strings for slap. They have a nice high end pop as well as a deep low end thump with a nice upper mid scooped tone, great for slap bass. They're also hex-core strings so they would be a little tighter in tension than your traditional round core string. I also like the DR High Beams, but they're round core.

DR highbeams or GHS boomers. Highbeams last longer but cost more (I like to play the low-riders myself)
