Uh oh - Changed the strings on my Rick

Sign in to disble this ad
Took the Roto 66s off and slapped on a set of Roto 77s (flats) and......

I really dig the sound!

Can't really pretend I'm Geddy Lee with them, but it's a whole different vibe that I really like.

Now what?

I am finding I want more basses not because I want more basses, but because I want more string options.

Ideally I would have:
My Jazz with TI Flats
another Jazz w/ Roto flats
and one more Jazz with Roto 66s

And then my Rick, currently with Roto flats
And another with Roto 66s

And if I could.......
I'd have two pre Ernie Ball Stingrays, one w/ rounds, one w/ flats.

Ugh!

Your right. But if I go down that road, I gotta get a couple of single coil P basses too.....
