Unchain my heart!

Hi tb,
I REALLY like the bass tone on Cocker's "Unchain my heart",
the bass is defined and yummy, mids are definitely present and the highs are defined but not clanky nor glassy...

What strings would help me nail that tone with a Jaguar bass?
I was thinking about nickel lo-riders... Thoughts?

I think that was Will Lee. He uses Dean Markley SR2000 strings these days but blue steel and super rounds in the past. The jazz pickups in your jaguar combined with those strings should get you close.
