| Unmatched strings

Alrighty, does anyone else do this? on my main bass, I have all unmatching strings, due to the difference in tension, sound per string, I have different strings from different sets, guages, and brands on my bass. And it sounds killer...anyone else do this?
E - Thick, Low, Punchy - Daddario
A - Thin, lighter tension, growly - Dean Markley
D - Thick, Very high tension, growly - MM Slinky
G - very thin - low tension, punchy - not sure
