Using the 4 thickest strings from 5 string set, on a 4 string guitar.

Any expierience with this? I want to play 4 strings, but some of my music require low B tuning, and it tends to get kind of sloppy with 4 string thickness.

That will work. You may need to run the thickest string back and forth in the nut to make it fit properly. Also, a setup to make it play it;s best in this tuning would be good.
