Using elixir strings how to string

So i bought set of elixir strings and after watching one of the vid on youtube the dude said i needed around 4 inchs to spare and i cut off the end of the string. but now its hard to wrap the string around the pegs everytime i try it pops back up

i have ibanez sr300 elixir .045 - .105

Wind them the same way as any other strings with 2-3 wraps around the post. Being coated doesnt change how to string them in any way.

its hard i mean, i try to wrap it but it pops back up.

You're not actually literally wrapping them, are you? By hand?

i followed a video it told me to wrap it i got it thouggh, its jsut the E on my peg was broken and E string iss thick as hell but i got the rest on.

Take a pair of pliers. Use them to put a 90 degree bend on the last bit of the string - I simply put the string across the width of the pliers and use the width of the pliers as the amount that I bend the string - simply close the jaws and put the bend in. Then push the bent section vertically downwards into the hole in the middle of the tuning peg and wind away until the string is up to tension. It's harder to describe than it is to do.
