Versatile strings for Two-Tone (Punk, Ska, Reggae)?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a new P Bass and really dig the Two Tone era. Curious about people's opinions about a particular make of strings versatile enough to go from Punk Rock to Reggae. Strings I've tried in the past that I liked include Fatbeams and Sunbeams. I'm thinking maybe Fatbeams. Of course playing technique has much to do with it, when your going from abrasive punk to smooth reggae, just curious about versatile strings. Any opinions?

Cheers

All I know is, I play both punk and reggae and Elixirs work great for me.
