Just wondering if anyne either knows what strings he uses for that insane slap tone, or what strings would come best to approximating?

While we are on the topic, I bet he also uses thin strings for tapping. 'Any idea exactly what he uses though?

Having seen Vic play many times, whatever string you decide to go with, play them really hard.

Check out his website. He uses his fodera signature strings or D'addario xl220.
