They came from the factory on my Corvette $$. Enjoying their sound. Nice bright highs and growly lows.

When I change strings next, I'm trying the DR Hi-Beams based on some solid recommendations....but I like the Black Labels just fine.

Black Labels work fine but I like LaBella Hard Rockin' Steels and Deep Talkin' rounds better on my Warwicks.

They aren't overly popular on here so you probably won't find a lot of praise for them. I use them on my main fretted bass (warwick streamer wideneck lx 6) and am perfectly content with them. When I got this bass, it was already strung with these strings. Although I had planned on trying a few differing brands out on this instrument when I got it, the tone and feel were good enough that I never bothered. There might be a better string out there for me, but these get the job done while feeling and sounding good doing it. I don't see the need to going experimenting with new strings on the 'wick.\

One thing I will say is that I don't care for their tone right out of the box. Then again, I can't think of any roundwound where I like the tone right out of the box. I strongly prefer well broken in (not dead, broken in) rounds or flats if I am playing fretless.
