So I strung up my 6 with a set of these and I've been playing them for about 4 months. I'm at practice one day and I'm playing when my B string snaps. Now to be fair I do play a bit harder on my instrument than most people, but not really enough to break a string. Normally I'd write this off as a fluke but at the same practice 10 minutes later the E string snaps! I liked the tone from the strings pretty well (maybe not quite worth the hefty price tag), but has anyone else had this problem? I might want to try them again, but if they have breakage problems then I think I'll pass.

I'd check your bridge saddles first before anything else. That's normally where my problem with strings snapping has been; a little sandpaper in that groove and we'll good to go.

As for the EMPs, they're okay. My custom shop $$ came with them on (and with a second set), and they're okay.

The Warwick strings always looked too light for my taste, so I haven't bothered to give them a go.

Sounds like your bridge has some burs in it. Grab some 400-600 grit sand paper and gently rub it on the string-side of the saddle.
