are the rockbass strings good for beginers? should i replace them?

I suggest keeping them on the bass until you need to switch them out. It'll save you money (instead of just restringing) and it will give you some idea of what you want to change about your strings when you go to buy a new set.
Maybe you will want a thicker gauge all around, stainless, nickel, coated, etc.

Since you are obviously totally unfamiliar with whats going to be the best sounding to yoiu strings. Id say keep them on. Then start researching why diff peeps like diff brands for their tone diff's. And why some prefer nickel over stainless steel, and some roundwound and some flatround. Also why some prefer light, med or heavy gauge. Then over time you'll find you have some fave string brands and gauge.

Warwick strings are fairly similiar to rotosound in both sound and feel. Theyre of course roundwounds. Good strings.
