I could run my theremin through an octave pedal, but no way could I make it sound that good or be in key. She is amazing. I finally have a theremin hero to look up to!

Ive only heard one bass therimen type thing. I think it was called the Lyra sound machine. or something similair. Created as a large sculpture that would interact with tourists and others milling around it at the musuem or place it was at. Had a cd of it yrs ago. Was neat sounding bass drone type album actually. Dunno if it always worked so well depending on the peoples wandering around, waving at it, etc.

One should she her perform live, Really awesome to say the least.

And yes live it really does sound like an double bass.
