I'll go with DR here not because I'm an employee, but because I truly love the look, feel, and sound of DRs (especially the colored ones). Best strings on the market by far IMO

I voted "DR" and "other" because La Bella Hard Rockin' Steels is another great option not present in the poll (although i like DR Hi-beams even more).

I use Roto's on all my basses now, but have used and enjoy Ernies and Fender Flats, too.

I use Elixirs on my Ibanez, my Carvin will be getting Hi-Beams, and if I ever decide to put a set of flats on they will be TI's.

I voted DR. Sunbeams for me, though you may find another set more to your liking. On a semi-related note, I have a strange urge to string my Squier P-bass with Fender nylons... Talk about different ends of tone spectrum...

Im Loving Rotosound Jazz Bass Monel strings for flatwounds (for my P bass and my soon to be cheapo fretless 6) and Optima Gold for roundwounds (expensive habit, i know) for my Listerud bass.

I'm pretty much exclusively using DR Hi-Beams these days on my fretted basses.
