i wanna try the DR extra life color coated strings on my black bass.
theres peacock blue, black beauties, red devils, evergreen, hot pink
im kinda keen on the hot pink + black bass look but i wanna know ur opinions

I use Warick black label 40's on my Warick and Roto Billy Sheehan 43 - 110's on my OLP traben (loosely based on a PJ type bass).
I know the black labels are quite high tension, if the DR's are softer, I might be able to get away with them.

i think i'll just be switching back and forth between the two colours on tour when i have to change strings.

I don't particalularly spend an inordinate amount on strings (which lets face it, these aren't a cheap set of strings) if I have to take a pair of pliers to them to get them in my warwick's bridge.
