what coloured silks do these Ken Smith Strings have?

Never seen them outside of a package. My Bass Burners are Orange. I doubt they're the same though.

Purple.

Good strings. They're my 'backup' for when I can't get my hands on MTD or DR strings.

Are MTD strings good?

I'm in a bit of a toss up between MTD's, Ken Smiths,Fodera or Elites. the strings are going on a 33" scale 6 string.

IME with MTD's, Smiths, and Foderas....

Foderas are very bright, but have a really thin core. Not sure I'd use them on a 33" bass, unless you have a very light touch.

MTD's are more bright than Smiths...I love them, but they are a bit less durable as well.
