I just threw a set of DR HiBeams on my 44-01. First time i ever used DR's of any kind, these are very bright strings I like them, I like them allot just not sure if this is the tone i am looking for, wondering what you Lakland owners use...

Warwick Black Labels on my JO. Big range of tones, a bit abrassive on the fingers, but great sounding. I'm thinking of maybe trying some flats though, either Rotos or LaBellas.

I have Hi-Beams(125-45) on my DJ5.

If I score a Duck Dunn model, I'm going to put some TI flats on it!

Whoa... those are beyond light, Jauqo...
Out of curiosity, how wobbly are they?

with people going heavier for 34" b strings, i often wonder if going lighter would bring more uniform tone. without a doubt, it would minimize intonation problems. i like lighter guage strings because they seem to give more fundamental and less overtones. it's a balancing act between tone and playability. those are some seriously light strings, tho..

The 110 Low B is what I use on my 34" scale Basses but not on my Subcontra Bass(which is 125 and 34" scale).

I really dug the Lakland strings (made by GHS) when I had a 44-02, they sound and felt just right.

On my Joe Osborn I use DR Sunbeams, the Lakie strings had too much tension for that bass, didn't feel right.
