What flats for Reggae on a 5 string jazz?

i have a 2008 american jazz 5 string with a maple neck.

i've heard that chromes can be bright and labella's can be too tight

should i try 3-4 different sets or just one?

i've also heard good things about the dr flats

reggae/dub can be achieved by eq'ing but it might be fun to try something new

i do like the fender strings that came with the bass
