What flatwounds do you use on a KSD 705-J?

I am interested in trying flatwounds on my KDS 705-J fiver and also on my Fender Roscoe Beck V.

Anyone have flats on these basses that can provide some insight into the sound difference btw roundwounds?

I have a four-string set of TI Jazz Flats that I may put on the bass to "try it out" and then maybe just grab a TI B-string.

Thanks.

Okay, so I replaced the Ken Smith Rock Stainless Steel EADG with the Thomastic Jazz flats. Sounds very nice! Very old-school sounding.

So my question is: anyone use the TI or other flats for the B-string on the KSD proto 705-J and what are your thoughts?

The B-string on the KSD is not the strongest, so I tend to play it less than when I'm using the Lakland DJ 5. Just wondering what the flats will do to the tone and volume.
