What guages for tuning in 5ths?

So I just defretted a bass today and I want to tune it in 5ths, CGDA, but I don't know what gauges I should use. The G and the D are new problem, it's the Low C and high A I am concerned about. Should I use a low B and a normal G string and tune them up, or use an E and a high C string and tune them down? Which choice will be better, more or less tension?

.125 - .090 - .060 - .035 will be ok

I tried tuning a G up to A and B up to C, and the A is way too tight. Do I risk warping the if I have the C still tuned up, but get a High C and tune it down?

I'd suggest .125 .085 .055 .035

I'd suggest pretty much the same thing, except with a .65 D, which is pretty much medium gauge.

Light B string tuned to C (.125)
Medium A tuned to G (.85)
Medium D tuned to D (.65)
Light G tuned to A (.40 or .35)
