Ok,

So I call Dean Markley about getting custom gauged sets for SR2000s directly from them but they say I can't because I am not an artist, ok fine!

I cal Long and Mcquade today to see if they can these singles in so I don't have to order from Juststrings all the time. The rep calls me back saying that Dean Markley is no longer making these strings anymore and that they have none in stock!

what the heck am I supposed to believe?

Andrew

To me, it sounds like you received the same answer both times pretty much...

The L&M rep you spoke with most likely received the same answer from Dean Markley, so you got the "no longer made" answer. Kinda true, when you think about it - no longer made...unless your a DM artist.

Sounds like your 'JustStrings' connection is the way to go. And if DM isn't offering the custom guages to the public anymore (and JustStrings still has inventory), I'd say buy 'em up & stockpile them, so you have some extra sets for the future.

Good luck!
