What I learned about a Warwick and LaBella strings

Sign in to disble this ad
If you want to get rid of the growl on a warwick thumb in trade for a much rounder tone slap some LaBella's on it because it will get rid of A LOT of growl. I've always used DR on it in the past and it has always retained it's character. What do you other thumb players use on yours? sound clips are welcome if you have any... direct us to your band page but give some recording info too. Don't just shamelessly plug your band

I remember playing a friends NT with fresh Fodera Stainless Steel Diamonds on it. For my money, the best SS strings you can get!

Why would you play a W if you don't want growl? That's what makes them what they are.
