Well...
I just paid a stupid tax.
I got an MTD about a month ago. Time for new strings.
I wanted elixirs but they didn't have any. I went with D'addario coated. I saved $10 bucks so I was feelin' good
When I got home I realied that long scale is for 34 inch basses. My MTD is a 535. Emphasis on the 35 part. the low b winds down about a half inch in front the nut/zero fret so it buzzes like crazy.
The stupid part is that I know that long scale is 34 but I wasn't thinking. It's my first 35 and I just wasn't paying attention.
