The Alleva-Coppolo seems to be an LG5 (at least i think it has an alder body...)

Is he using nickel or stainless? Nickel-plated stainless maybe? Sounds like full stainless to me ala Marcus Miller, but i might be wrong.

Could be the woods of the bass are throwing me off, too... Or he may be using the preamp (which is a good one i've heard) to boost some lows/highs.
