What kind of strings would you use...

...on a 80's rock band??
I currently use a Fender American Precision Vintage'57 and a Fender American Precision with a DiMarzio Will Power.

For now I'm using Ernie Ball Super Slinky 45-100 and I really like them, but I`d like to try something else.

Thank you!

If you like them then why change them? Is there something wrong or are you just looking for variety?

Other Than that, i suggest Dunlop NPS Strings. Had them on my bass for a few months, good bright tone.

Then maybe Stainless steel strings, and lower action. That'll give you growl like nobody's busines. Rotosounds have a good reputation, as do DR Hi-Beams, and Dean Markley Blue Steels. Personally have never tried any of these sets, but will get back to you if I do.

I've never tried DR and I see there are lots of different models...
I use a 45-100 gauge, and as you said, I have to look after stainless steel strings, then, which DR model should I choose?

I've read a lot about these DR strings and looks like it is a great strings brand...
