So i went to the local guitar store today to try out different heads (and i think ive settled on the one that i want) and after playing several awful basses that had either dead strings or very new strings that were tight and 50 feet off the fretboard, i found bass that had great tone and felt pretty nicely too and then played the EXACT SAME bass (except with a different wood top) and it didnt sound as good as the other. looked at the strings and realized that they used different kinds. that being said, what kind of strings have the purple cloth around the top of them? |
