Sorry if this is in wrong section (was not sure where to put this query)
Does anybody know what songs on Stadium Arcadium Flea uses flatwounds on ? Ive listened to the album and would only guess one or two but from what I have heard from other people it seems he may have used flats on a lot of the album

That suprises me a little , the tone on "tell me baby" and "torture me" sound like rounds to me

As far as I know he used the 61 Jazz with rounds on the whole album.

I agree that some of the songs sound like rounds. I think Slow Cheetah is an example of flats.

That has flats

the tone on Torture me is definitely flats, they are really dead sounding.

Flea probably used his Flea bass or something with rounds for Tell Me Baby and the chords in Snow

Shows how peoples perceptions differ , I always thought Tortue Me had a really zingy bass sound to it (at least on the intro) , mind you I am used to playing really dead flats with the tone knob at 0

I think most of the album is with the jazz bass with flats.
I have never tried flats as ive only been playing for a little less than a year.

tell me baby and hump de bump sound like a good example of flats to me. I think a large majority of the album is the jazz bass with flats.
