What is the status of the "Flatwound Lending Library"?

Sign in to disble this ad
about a month ago a forum member proposed a lending library for FLATWOUND STRINGS. the suggestion was that those that had strings just sitting around could forward them on to other forum members that wanted to try flatwounds in general or a particular string.

Has the thread died do to lack of interest? This seemed like a great idea,....perpaps one that should be anchored at the beginning of the Strings forum area.

Yould could always "bump" that thread to the top.

But yes, I do agree, that should be a Sticky at the top of the page.

Could you point me to that thread? I have a set of flats I could add to the library. Only thing is that I am not sure what brand they are. Came with a recent bass purchase and I changed them out straight away.
