What string, i found the tone and tension, just the last step missing

So im playing a pbass through a fender rumble 15 and an electroharmonix bass Big Muff Pi.
The strings i am currently using are Daddario black nylon tapewound (50-105).

I like the tension and i love the clean tone (without the big muff) when the treble is maxed and bass/mids are 12 oclock.
and i also use a thick 2.0mm pick as well as my fingers (i like the tone with both at the same setting).

The problem is that the strings are nylon tapewound so there a bit of buzzing. Im looking for a string without that annoying hiss but with the low tension. I was thinking of rotosound 40-90 flats or daddario chromes 40-95.

Any suggestions???

Chromes are the opposite of low tension. Rotosound would be better, but DR Sunbeams have a round core so would be the best. Of coruse either one will sound the polar opposite of tapewounds.

For me buzzing usually is a setup issue not a string issue. Did you have your bass set up properly after putting the tapewound strings on? If not you might wanna try that before spending more money on strings.

TI Jazz Flats are very low tension.
