Question What Strings?

Sign in to disble this ad
What strings should I put on my new Ibanez SRX 655 when I get it. It's 34 inch scale and the factory strings them with 45,65,85,105,125's. Should I go with D'Addario XL Nickels, ProSteels, DR HI-Beams, or Rotosound Swing Bass?

I have SR505 and d' like to re-string it with flatwound. But i'm not sure what string fits. The A string is especially long..It should be 36"....

I believe that TI makes a set of flats that will fit your bass.

Arrow The Winner....

Looks like Hi-Beams are going to be the winner.

Pedulla's

Are you interested in trying a set of Pedulla's SS?

I just took a set off in favor of a lighter gauge of the SS Pedullas.

I have 45 - 65 - 80 - 100 - 128 SS.

Still in excellent condition, no cleaning needed.

They have been cut for a 3 + 2 Thunderbass headstock. 34" scale.

No charge, will mail to you if interested.

That is quite nice of you but I'll pass. My mind is pretty much made up on the DR Hi-Beams. Thanks Anyway.
