But that unfortunately isn't an option in the poll haha.

Even so, you can EQ your bass differently & get a great blues thump from rounds as well. Just make it stop sounding piano-like by dropping the mid range. Oh......and lose the pick. |

| | Registered User Edorsing Artist: Eden | | | | | Probably nickel plated roundwounds for a darker tone. I have flatwounds on a couple of basses, but they're not very versatile. The nickels still give you a darker sound, but also the versatility to play more styles of music.
