I am just wondering what kind of strings everyone else uses on their 2008 MIA Fender bass or basses???

(Please specify the model of your bass along with the set of strings you use!)

Im currently using the strings that came on my 2008 MIA Jazz.

I have La Bella 760FS flats on my 08 CS P-bass -- but the bass is now with my luthier for warranty work because the truss wouldn't adjust!

DR Extra life stings the Black beauties, heavy gauge. I love 'em great strings.

The previous owner of my P5 put TI Jazz Flats on it. I've used D'Addario Chromes on a few basses, really liked them, and expected to put them on this one when I got it. However, I'm giving these a chance. I'm still not sure if I like the feel (they're looser or floppier than the Chromes) but I do like the sound of them so I don't want to change things just yet.

I'm using Rotosound TruBass 88 nylon tapewounds on my 62 MIA RI... Had to modify the nut to take them because they're very large-gauge strings.
I don't plan on selling that bass so modifying it to take those strings wasn't an issue...

2008 MIA P5 and I'm using SIT Silencers. Hated them at first, but they are breaking in nicely. My recommendation for a J would be the SIT Taperwound. I have them on my ADJV and have loved them since day 1.

I still have the stock strings on my 08 P. It sounds great and I don't know what would be better! I love the mids. I may get another set of these, that taperwound E is gnarly.

Medium Elixir strings on my '08 J bass.

I have a thing for ultra thin nanoweb coating.
