Hello Sir,

I'd like to add another make to consider. I don't know whether they're available or not in Portugal, but I recommend Elites Stadium strings. I often use them and they're very consistent, bright and long lasting steel strings.

Enjoy.

MIM's are made in Mexico by Mexicans, the MIA's are made in America by Mexicans. (MIJ's are where its at)

I would recommend D'Addario ProSteels. IMHO, the are by far the best value. They have the least tension of any strings I have used, they retain their zing forever, AND if that weren't enough, they are priced just right!

Yeah my 5 string P wears chromes and I play in an alt/prog rock band, but im going for a JPJ kinda tone, if I was trying to cop a Geddyish tone I would def be using stainless rounds. Both JPJ and Geddy play rock, COMPLETELY different tone, so it's really subjective.
