Cool What strings for Fender P Bass [SD SPB3'S +Badass 2] ?

Sign in to disble this ad
Okay, im looking for some strings that have some real thump!

I tend to play with a pick [Tortex .60mm, if it makes any difference] (I feel comfortable with it and I like the tone) and i dont play that heavy. My action is medium-high i think

I normally use Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinkys, but i cant get a nice sound out of them, the a strings sounds really scratchy

i just want something that nice and bassy, and perhaps a heavier gauge.

Any input is appreciated

Try the fender 8250 super bass nickel strings. Big E at .110
Or, how about the fender stainless flats (9050's I think)for some nice thump.
Those are my two choices anyway.

Allthough I'm a finger player they both sound really good with a pick.
